about
Singularity

Compassionate counseling for adults pursuing clarity and balance.

This is a safe space to embrace all that you are—no matter how messy or uncertain. You don’t have to wait until the storm within becomes too loud. Reaching out is a brave and powerful step toward understanding yourself, healing what needs attention, and embracing your authentic self with compassion and patience.

Together, we’ll gently explore what’s beneath the surface, honoring where you are today while guiding you toward clarity and growth. You deserve compassion, patience, and a safe place to be fully you—right here, right now.

Why I Became
a Therapist

My road to becoming a therapist wasn't linear. It was shaped by the profound impact of the safe space someone spared for me, allowing me to grow and evolve.

To me, therapy is not about fixing people. Our paths, our personalities, our pasts are not linear - we will always continue to change with the seasons. As a therapist, I want to honor all that you are in this season, and provide a safe space for you to find your way back to yourself.

People are resilient, and everything we need is already within us. So, no, my goal as a therapist is not to “fix” people. Rather, my goal is to empower people to embrace the messiness that is life and walk alongside them as we unravel the bigger picture that is their singularity.

My Therapeutic
Approach

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

We'll explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and develop practical strategies to shift unhelpful patterns.

Trauma-Informed Care

I understand that trauma lives in the body and the nervous system, not just the mind. Our work will honor your pace and prioritize your sense of safety above all else.

Mindfulness-Based Techniques

I'll introduce grounding and mindfulness practices to help you stay present, manage overwhelming emotions, and reconnect with your body.

Narrative Therapy

Your story matters. We'll examine the narratives you've been told (and told yourself) and work together to rewrite the ones that no longer serve you.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

We’ll work side by side to understand your emotional experience, and discover how mindfulness can help you stay present  as you navigate challenges.

My therapeutic style is centered on you as an individual, emphasizing collaboration and mutual respect to foster a supportive environment where meaningful change can happen. Together, we will tailor the therapeutic process to your individual needs and strengths.

A Little More About Me

When I'm not in session, I can often be found outside with a book, catching up on the latest films, or creating a new bouquet out of Legos.

I'm also passionate about exploring the stories of different places and their cultures, so I enjoy taking small trips to appreciate their histories. Most importantly, however, I am the San Antonio Spurs # 1 super fan. Go Spurs Go!
